The Northeast Georgia History Center is proud to partner with Atlanta Historic Dance to present the Fraser's Ridge Wedding Ball. Time travelers, both real and fictional, are cordially invited to this extraordinary event inspired by the adventures of the beloved Outlander characters during their time in America. Step back in time and immerse yourself in the world of the Fraser family.
Location: Northeast Georgia History Center at Brenau University
Dress Code: Guests are encouraged to wear 18th-century period clothing from any country or formal vintage outfits from the 1940s-1960s. Modern formal attire is also accepted.
This event is intended for guests 16 and older. Tickets are available for students, adult members, adult nonmembers, and VIP package.

18th-Century Dances: Be enchanted by an evening of 18th-century dance. English and Scottish country dances of the period will be called by Kat Nagar and Chris Wilson of Atlanta Historic Dance.

Blacksmithing Demonstration: Our resident blacksmith, Steven Bartlett, will be providing a blacksmithing demonstration in our historic Hoyt-Herrin blacksmith shop. Learn about blacksmithing practices at the time just like the character Murtagh Fraser used in the New World.
