Registration is now closed. We are near MAXIMUM CAPACITY. If you plan to be a walk-in admission, we recommend arriving at 11 AM to enjoy ongoing activity stations while other guests attend the first Tuskegee Airmen program. Another Tuskegee Airmen program will be held at 12 PM.

Join us for our April Homeschool Day all about World War II where you’ll meet costumed interpreters, view fascinating artifacts, learn about the diverse experiences of the era, and more!

The Tuskegee Airmen Program with The Museum of History & Holocaust Education
The Museum of History and Holocaust Education will present a program about the Tuskeegee Airmen.

Ongoing Stations

The Soldier’s Life
Take a close-up look at artifacts, uniforms, equipment, and weapons of World War II with Louis Varnell of The History Company.

The Sailor’s Life
Tim Klob will share the story of his uncle who served in the Navy during World War II and showcase special items from his service.

Women of World War II
Learn about the story behind the iconic "Rosie the Riveter" persona, the WAVES and WACs, and the important role of women during the war.

Girl Scouts of World War II
Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia will share how Girl Scouts served their communities during the war.

Jewish Family Traditions at Home
Members of the local Shalom b’Harim congregation will share the traditions of Jewish families on the homefront.

Hall County Library Resources
The Hall County Library will have an excellent resource table with book recommendations to continue your learning.

Victory Gardens of WWII
Visit the American Freedom Garden and learn about Victory Gardens during World War II. Take home a seed plant packet to make your own Victory Garden at home!
