Join the Northeast Georgia History Center for our next Homeschool Day: The Information Age on Wednesday, May 22nd from 10 AM - 1 PM. During this "throwback" event, students and families will learn about the evolution of computer and communication technologies from the telegraph to the personal computer with guest experts and demonstrations.

Register online and you will be entered into our raffle to win a copy of David Greelish's documentary Before Macintosh: The Apple Lisa.

Scheduled Program at 11 AM: Computer Historian David Greelish

Computer historian, author, and documentary filmmaker David Greelish will join us virtually to present the history of the personal computer and offer a Q&A for curious students to learn even more.

Ongoing Stations

  • The Computer Museum of America will have a pop-up exhibit on display with early computer technologies.
