Join us at the Northeast Georgia History Center during our March Homeschool Day, Georgia Women's History, on Thursday, March 20th from 10 AM to 1 PM. At 11:00 AM, we’ll have a live portrayal of novelist Margaret Mitchell! **Note that this program will take place once at 11:00 AM and that it will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Dress accordingly and bring sunglasses/hats for shade from the sun.**

Ongoing activities include:
- Learn about Moina Belle Michael and make poppies to honor those who have died in the military
- Make thank you cards for the Northeast Georgia Hospital System nurses
- Hear about local icon Beulah Rucker's legacy in Gainesville and throughout the state of Georgia
- Join in a sing-a-long of songs showcasing Georgia legend Gladys Knight
- Learn about Women's History Month from the Hall County Library
- Participate in a scavenger hunt showcasing local women's history
- Make your own Rosie the Riveter bandana and learn about Helen Longstreet's role as a Rosie ($5 craft ticket)
