Join us this April as we explore the expansion of Railroads into North Georgia and commemorate the 90th anniversary of the 1936 Gainesville Tornado.
Students will explore the expansion of railroads and discover how they changed North Georgia, in addition to learning about the history of the 1936 Gainesville Tornado. This hands-on program encourages critical thinking, understanding of basic engineering and remembrance of local history.
We look forward to learning all about Georgia's railroads with you!
