Kick off summer at the History Center by joining the Revolution! Our final Homeschool Day of the school year coincides with the start of summer, and we can’t think of a better beginning to this historic summer than by celebrating the 250th anniversary of our nation! A patriot soldier will visit us from the Revolutionary War days by setting up camp behind our historic White Path cabin. A soldier loyal to the crown will share his side of the conflict in our education room throughout the day. What will happen when the two meet at 10:45 and again at noon? We aren’t sure, but you can bet shots will be fired! As always, we will have instructional stations, crafts, a scavenger hunt, and more to help our young revolutionaries learn about the early days of our nation.
